Moscow. 22 July. INTERFAX.RU – The Bank of Russia called unacceptable automatic consent to credit history requests when registering financial products, recommends financial institutions to avoid such a practice, follows from the message of the regulator.
The Central Bank has identified cases where a person cannot actually refuse consent to a request for a credit history, except by refusing a financial product as a whole – for example, opening a card, account, deposit. In addition, sometimes he is forced to agree to requests from several companies at once, including those associated with a bank or microfinance organization, without having a choice.
To avoid this practice, the Central Bank recommended that financial institutions provide in contracts that contain permission to request, the possibility of putting a mark on consent or disagreement to provide access to a credit history. If consent is requested for several companies, it should be possible to make similar notes in the document against each of them.
