Aluminum production in Tajikistan in the first half of this year fell by 11%. This was announced by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic Zavki Zavkizoda.

„Tajikistan’s aluminum production dropped by 11% in January-June to 31,400 tons,” he said. According to him, aluminum exports in January-June 2022 decreased by 11.5% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 28,600 tons.

The Minister noted that according to the forecasts of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, aluminum production in the country in 2022 is expected in the amount of 80,300 tons, its export in the amount of 75,000 tons.
